Health Day

Many of you may know that I volunteer regularly with a homeless ministry, Lazarus. One of my favorite events is Health Day where we close off a block in downtown in Atlanta and provide health services, hair cuts, manicures, pedicures, clothing, food and friendship.

The calling of my church is to be the "hands and feet of Jesus". Being part of a serving community has been one of my most rewarding experiences during my time in Atlanta. Frankly I don't know how some people enjoy life at all without pursuing service to others!
